User Interface
This is some help on the user interface The Main window consists of a header with various elements (see below) and timelines under itTimelines
Timelines are the main part of the screen and are described in timelinesButtons
The buttons here open and close subwindows, this accesses a lot of functionality outside the main window.

| Menu | The main menu | Shows the menu -- there are two levels and all actions are on the second level. Keybindings for keys are shown with options. |
| D | Debug window? | Displays values being output form events and expressions |
| F | Filters? | Show configured filters (click on one to edit in input box click also toggles enabling of the filter (*=enabled !=disabled) |
| N | Notes | Make notes about the files being edited for reminder later |
| L | Log | Display all log messages and errors |
| X | MIDI key bindings? | Displays all the MIDI map key bindings in the menu |
| C | Compiler window | open the compiler window for java editing |
| M | MIDI map view/edit | Displays the MIDI map overlay window |
| K | Colours? | Show configured colours |
| O | Object map | Display the object map namespace |
| P | Properties | Property editor for most objects - click on the object(Timeline/event) to see and edit the properties. |

The input bar is just to the right of the buttons and was the main way of inputing data (now the Properties is more convenient) it is still used for editing a lot of data though
The input mode is displayed in the box to the left.
Some type of input take predefined formatted strings:-
- Midi Input (input modes +,=)
- For filename input ( ''f'' )clicking on the left box opens a file dialog, and up/down arrows go to the next/last file in the the directory denoted by the base path.
- For control input (''+'' ) the left box show the midi control input helper and up/down shows the next/last control assignment for the current MIDI control.
